Goodbye 2020 Sale!

Hello! I hope your holiday celebrations were wonderful in spite of the current world-wide conditions. I also pray that any disappointments this year will be more than made up for next year. To celebrate this momentous occasion of the final conclusion of the {very trying} Year 2020, I am having a 40% off sale in my whole store through December 31.

Also in the way of a reminder, there are a few days left to participate in my forum challenge at MyMemories and also to get the free mini from my Facebook group, for anyone who missed those up until now. See the post here for more details. I'm looking forward to January's challenge, and I hope you are, too!

NOTE: If you tried to download my blog train freebie in the past couple of days, and it was not marked as free, please go ahead and try again now. The system canceled the 100% sale on it when I scheduled the current sale, and I didn't notice until Saturday afternoon. So sorry about that!

Flash Sale, Freebie & Layouts

Happy Monday! I hope all is well in your corner of the world. I thought you might want to know that MyMemories has a 40% off storewide sale today only!

I'd also like to show you a few faith art journal style pages made with my Worship the King and Woodland December collections.

For this next layout, I added some "glows" by Marta van Eck. (I was on her creative team for years immediately after I started digi-scrapping in 2009.)

And on this next page, I added a harp from a kit by Marta van Eck (Perfect Harmony collab with Rucola Designs), and I modified the color to match my kit. I also blended a sheet music scrap of paper from that same kit into my wood paper.

I also made this freebie pack that includes a paper, cluster, wordart and quickpage. I hope you like it. You can get it free in my store by clicking on the preview (if you haven't already - it's been discovered by many blog train visitors already!) 😏

News flash: I can't wait for the A Love for the Layout blog train coming up on Saturday, January 2. The theme is "Hope for the Future," and there will be a special treat this time. It's the 4th anniversary of that train and so many of the designers are making a coordinating mini kit in addition to their template. I've seen the previews so far, and believe me, you do not want to miss this one! (But don't worry, I think all of the downloads will be active until the end of January.)

Hope to see you then! In the meantime, I pray you will be blessed with God's peace now and always.

MyMemories December 2020 Blog Train

Welcome to my stop on the December 2020 MyMemories blog train! I'm so glad you made it! Can you believe how close we are to Christmas, and then after that, the end of 2020? I think a lot of people are looking forward to the chance of 2021 being better than this year was. How about you? Are you optimistic? For myself, I'm trying to look at it like Paul would - learn to be content in every circumstance. Let me tell you, sometimes it's a lot easier said than done! Maybe you can relate to that. LOL

Before I show you my blog train gift, I want to refer you back to the post here to find out how to get two additional minis that coordinate with it during the month of December (if you haven't already - the link will open in a new tab so that you won't lose your place). On January 1, all three minis will go in my store, but I'll have a little bundle of them for a low price for anyone who missed out.

In addition to the three minis you can get free this month, I also made another coordinating kit with some brand new elements and papers, as well as more color variations of those in the three minis. I actually set out to just make a fourth mini, but I got carried away!

Elements only:

Papers only:

These sample pages were made with the above kit, plus some of the extras, like the borders, wordart, brush accents, torn papers, messy papers, etc. Lidia made this first batch of wonderfully composed layouts:

I made a few pages as well:

And now for what is no doubt the main reason for your visit today!

I hope you like what I made for you! Click on the preview below to download my portion:

Your next stop after mine will be Sugar Moon Designs. If you get lost, just go to the My Memories blog here and you'll find your way again in no time! If any of the blog train posts are not ready yet, please be patient and check back later due to varying time zones, etc.

NOTE: If you tried to download my blog train freebie in the past couple of days, and it was not marked as free, please go ahead and try again now. The system canceled the 100% sale on it when I scheduled the current 40% off sale, and I didn't notice until Saturday afternoon (12/26). So sorry about that!

Woodland December Layouts

I'm back with those layouts made with Woodland December. Before we start, I want to remind you that my entire store is 50% off through today!

Now to the layouts! This first page was made by Lidia for my MyMemories forum challenge. Isn't it just perfect?! I absolutely love it!

Lidia also made these next 3 beauties using combinations of the wood papers, torn papers, messy papers, artsy papers, brush accents and clusters.

I made a LOT of pages (very quickly and easily, I might add) using the three minis plus various extras like the wood papers, torn papers, artsy papers, borders, messy papers, brush accents and clusters.

I just can't emphasize enough how much easy it is to make pages with the extras. For anyone who just doesn't have the patience or hours in the day to do all of the clustering, etc., it's a real time saver! Thanks again for your visit - see you again soon! ❤

50% Off Sale, Designer Tip & Woodland December Extras

Guess what?! I've written up my very first MyMemories Designer Tip blog post. :) I can't wait for you to read it and let me know what you think. I have five different examples of ways to use clusters that may possibly be different than what you might normally do. The steps are written for the MyMemories Suite software, but any program you're familiar with would work also. You can check out the post here.

In celebration of this momentous occasion, I have a storewide 50% off sale now through Sunday. (No coupon code needed, but this is only my store, not the whole site.)

This is excellent timing, too, because the special offer will apply to this bunch of extras I have just finished in the past few days for the Woodland December collection. I don't know about you, but besides the baked goods, one of my favorite things about the holidays is the decorations. That's probably why I like these new packs so much! Don't get me wrong - brotherly love and expressing our faith are also extremely important, but I'm going under the assumption that we practice those on a daily basis and not just during certain times of the year. But anyway, how about if we take a look at the new stuff now?

Brush Accents:

Artsy Papers:

Messy Papers:

Torn Papers:

Wood Papers:

Thanks for looking! I'll have a LOT of sample pages to show you tomorrow. I hope you'll come back then. 😊 ❤
