Memorial Weekend Sale!

In honor of the observation of Memorial Day this weekend in the USA, the entire MyMemories shop is 30% off! I'm personally so thankful to all who have served their country, and also grateful that none of my loved ones perished during such times.

This weekend is also special to my family because it's my parents' 50th wedding anniversary. How big is that?! Whatever you're doing this weekend, I hope the weather cooperates and that everything is wonderful for any activities you have planned. Blessings to you and yours!

Honor Your Mother Extra Packs

Hello, ladies! I'm back with some coordinating packs to go with the Honor Your Mother collection, as I hoped would be the case. I just love the soft colors of this palette and the warm theme, so here's what I have to show you today! These packs (along with the original set) are all on sale for 25% off through May 31, with the bundle being 33% off again.

Clusters

Cluster Frames

Messy Papers

Torn Papers

Wood Papers

Bundle 2

Next, take a look at these stunning pages made by Lidia! For this first layout, she used a combination of items from the whole collection, including the heart from the blog train, a wood paper, cluster frame, cluster and a few other items from the kit/add-on for good measure.

And for this lovely page she used a torn paper, cluster frame, cluster, messy paper and wordart:

Here's a page I made using many parts of the collection, including a wood paper, torn paper, messy paper, cluster, cluster frame, wordart (from the British pack), border (see below) and just a few embellishments from the main kit and add-on.

This next one uses a wood paper, torn paper (peeking out from under the wood paper), two messy papers (one is peeking out from under the torn paper), cluster, and parts of the kit/add-on and blog train mini.

And this page uses three messy papers (two as strips), cardstock, torn paper, cluster frame, free cluster and parts of the kit/add-on.

The following layout uses two messy papers, a torn paper, cluster frame (this is the alternate version of the one shown in the preview, which is also included in that pack), and various parts of the kit/add-on.

Using a wood paper, two messy papers, cluster frame, two clusters and a wordart (from the British pack):

Last week my newsletter subscribers received a surprise freebie, and I'll be sending out another one in the next few days. I'll include the first freebie link again for anyone who signed up in the meantime. If you subscribed but haven't received the email, please be sure to check your spam folder. Here are those previews:

Cluster and Cluster Frame (last week)

Borders (this week)

For anyone who misses these or any of the other limited time freebies in this collection, I will be bundling them up for a super low price in June - so no worries! 😏

That's it from me for today. Thank you so much for reading! I hope that your month of May has been lovely so far. We've been enjoying the beautiful flowers in everyone's yards here on our daily walks. It won't be long before vegetable gardens will be sprouting up, will it? Wherever you live, I pray that there is plenty to be thankful for in God's bountiful blessings in your surroundings and in your life.

Honor Your Mother Layouts & Sale

Hello! Thanks for stopping by my blog. I hope all is going well for you and your family. As promised, I'm back to share some more layouts created with the Honor Your Mother collection. Lidia made these two gorgeous pages using various parts of the entire collection.

My first first page was made with the add-on, one cardstock and one wordart. The (modified) template is by Just Because Studio.

And this one uses the add on, extra papers, and a template by Jen Maddock and Heartstrings Scrapart.

I used a Scrapping with Liz template for this next one, along with the add-on and one cardstock.

I love how the baby in the photo below has an elephant on her outfit! This page includes the kit, add-on, one extra paper and one cardstock.

And now for the best part! The whole collection is 25% off through May 27! But that's not all - the bundle is 33% off!

So there you have it! I would like to add some clusters and such to this collection, but I have a very important project that has to be finished first. It's my parents' 50th wedding anniversary soon, and I'm making them a digital scrapbook. Talk about fun! They'll love it, to be sure. If all goes well, I would like to finish the book and order it by early mid-week. So the new packs in this collection might hopefully be ready about a week from now. If so, I'll also make a second bundle with just those new packs.

Thanks for reading, and have a great week! ❤

MyMemories May 2021 Blog Train

Welcome to my stop on the May MyMemories Blog Train! I have chosen Mother's Day for my theme this month, even though it was actually last week here in the USA. I figured that there are always more pictures to scrap on this topic, right? The name of my collection comes from the Bible (surprise!), and it brings to mind how Paul pointed out that this is the first commandment that comes with a promise. (See Ephesians 6:1-4.)

My blog train mini uses only the colors from the blog train palette, and then I have added in some additional color variations for the rest of the packs. I hope you like it! It was a blast to make. :) I love a bit of whimsy now and then, don't you?

Here are some gorgeous pages that Lidia made using various combinations of the whole collection:

And here are a few layouts that I made. Strike that - had FUN making! LOL This first one uses only the blog train mini plus one cardstock and one wordart. (The frame was made by clipping a paper to the circle and adding a bevel.)

These next three pages use the kit, one cardstock, and one wordart. For the first, one, the wordart color was modified to make it stand out more. (That's easy to do.)

This last page uses the kit and cardstock:

I will definitely post more layouts in the next few days, but for now, on to the main attraction! I know you're just as excited as I am to see the wonderful gifts that all of the designers have created for you this month for the blog train.

Click on the preview below to download my gift (by the end of this month).

I'm posting these coordinating alpha sets here for the convenience of those who haven't seen them yet. They are now in the store, but still free for a limited time. There are two versions each of two styles - one set with "Mom" and one set with "Mum" in both plain black (not shown) and peach gradient acrylic styles (15 wordarts x 2 styles per set).

If you haven't seen it yet, this coordinating pack of extra papers was free in yesterday's MyMemories newsletter! If you're not subscribed yet, you'll want to do that asap so that you don't miss out on anything in the future. The signup is towards the top on the left side of the MyMemories site.

AND, if you haven't subscribed to my newsletter (which is different than subscribing to the blog), you might want to do that as well. In case you didn't know, Google is doing away with the blog subscription portion of their Feedburner service. So if you want to keep up to date with each blog post, you would need to either subscribe in your favorite blog reader software or just bookmark the site. I will be sure to include a summary of what has been posted in my newsletters, too, but the newsletters will only be sent probably a couple of times per month.

And now, here are the rest of the links in the train. Your next stop is Songbird Scraps Designs.  If you get lost, just go to the My Memories blog here and you'll find your way again in no time!

A Giving Heart Studio <<--YOU ARE HERE-->>

Before you go on to the next stop, have you tried the easy-to-use, award-winning My Memories Suite software yet? If you'd like to, you can get a free trial. If you do like it, you can save $10 on your purchase by using my code: STMMMS39100 And new last month, you can also get 10% off your print orders by using this code! Woohoo!!

I hope you have a wonderful time on your blog train trip today! Be sure to check back next month around this time for June's train!

Happy Mother's Day!

I'd like to wish all of the moms out there a Happy Mother's Day. I realize that it's celebrated on other dates in various countries, and that some prefer "mum" or "mama," etc. - but in any event, there are no doubt lots of celebrations occurring today in the US, Australia and Canada (if my info is correct).

Regardless of when you celebrate, I'd like to offer you this wordart gift to enjoy. I made two versions each of two styles - one set with "Mom" and one set with "Mum" in both plain black (not shown) and peach gradient acrylic styles (15 wordarts x 2 styles per set).

The above links go to the store where the product is free for a limited time, and you can choose whether you want the general zip or the MyMemories Suite format.

Also, in case you may have missed it, there were three really nice freebies made by other designers in the MyMemories newsletter yesterday. I'll post the previews and links below for the convenience of anyone who didn't grab them yet. These are free through May 14.

And finally, today is the last day of the 25% off storewide sale. Can you believe it will be time for another blog train a week from today?! I hope to see you back here then! Thanks for reading, and have a great Sunday. 😊
