MyMemories May 2021 Blog Train

Welcome to my stop on the May MyMemories Blog Train! I have chosen Mother's Day for my theme this month, even though it was actually last week here in the USA. I figured that there are always more pictures to scrap on this topic, right? The name of my collection comes from the Bible (surprise!), and it brings to mind how Paul pointed out that this is the first commandment that comes with a promise. (See Ephesians 6:1-4.)

My blog train mini uses only the colors from the blog train palette, and then I have added in some additional color variations for the rest of the packs. I hope you like it! It was a blast to make. :) I love a bit of whimsy now and then, don't you?

Here are some gorgeous pages that Lidia made using various combinations of the whole collection:

And here are a few layouts that I made. Strike that - had FUN making! LOL This first one uses only the blog train mini plus one cardstock and one wordart. (The frame was made by clipping a paper to the circle and adding a bevel.)

These next three pages use the kit, one cardstock, and one wordart. For the first, one, the wordart color was modified to make it stand out more. (That's easy to do.)

This last page uses the kit and cardstock:

I will definitely post more layouts in the next few days, but for now, on to the main attraction! I know you're just as excited as I am to see the wonderful gifts that all of the designers have created for you this month for the blog train.

Click on the preview below to download my gift (by the end of this month).

I'm posting these coordinating alpha sets here for the convenience of those who haven't seen them yet. They are now in the store, but still free for a limited time. There are two versions each of two styles - one set with "Mom" and one set with "Mum" in both plain black (not shown) and peach gradient acrylic styles (15 wordarts x 2 styles per set).

If you haven't seen it yet, this coordinating pack of extra papers was free in yesterday's MyMemories newsletter! If you're not subscribed yet, you'll want to do that asap so that you don't miss out on anything in the future. The signup is towards the top on the left side of the MyMemories site.

AND, if you haven't subscribed to my newsletter (which is different than subscribing to the blog), you might want to do that as well. In case you didn't know, Google is doing away with the blog subscription portion of their Feedburner service. So if you want to keep up to date with each blog post, you would need to either subscribe in your favorite blog reader software or just bookmark the site. I will be sure to include a summary of what has been posted in my newsletters, too, but the newsletters will only be sent probably a couple of times per month.

And now, here are the rest of the links in the train. Your next stop is Songbird Scraps Designs.  If you get lost, just go to the My Memories blog here and you'll find your way again in no time!
