Happy Mother's Day!

I'd like to wish all of the moms out there a Happy Mother's Day. I realize that it's celebrated on other dates in various countries, and that some prefer "mum" or "mama," etc. - but in any event, there are no doubt lots of celebrations occurring today in the US, Australia and Canada (if my info is correct).

Regardless of when you celebrate, I'd like to offer you this wordart gift to enjoy. I made two versions each of two styles - one set with "Mom" and one set with "Mum" in both plain black (not shown) and peach gradient acrylic styles (15 wordarts x 2 styles per set).

The above links go to the store where the product is free for a limited time, and you can choose whether you want the general zip or the MyMemories Suite format.

Also, in case you may have missed it, there were three really nice freebies made by other designers in the MyMemories newsletter yesterday. I'll post the previews and links below for the convenience of anyone who didn't grab them yet. These are free through May 14.

And finally, today is the last day of the 25% off storewide sale. Can you believe it will be time for another blog train a week from today?! I hope to see you back here then! Thanks for reading, and have a great Sunday. 😊

Last Day of Sale & Newsletter Update

Hello, I just wanted to give two quick reminders today. First, this is the last day of the 50% off storewide sale at MyMemories, so there's still time to get some great deals! 😊

Second, I emailed the link to the online version of the newsletter to everyone who subscribed by the end of April (but after it was originally sent out in early April) - so please check your spam if you subscribed but haven't seen that message yet. Also, anyone who opens that email after April 30 will need the direct link to the alpha (because it's now on sale in my store). So if that includes you, all you need to do is reply to the email and let me know so that I can send you that direct download link. Thanks!

I hope you have all had a wonderful NSD weekend!

National Scrapbooking Day Sale!

Please excuse me if you saw the post about the 20% off sale through April 30 earlier today, but I have great news to replace it! Instead of that sale, there is now a sitewide 50% off sale through May 3 in its place. What a terrific upgrade, right? (The reason that I had outdated information is because I'm not on Facebook anymore - my apologies.) You can also get 40% off print orders if you use the code CelebrateNSDHave fun shopping if you go!

More Spring Rejoices Packs & Layouts!

Surprise! I loved the colors and theme of this collection so much that I just had to make some more stuff with it. LOL I also have extended the 50% off sale on the whole collection through the end of the month, too. First up in the new additions are these lovely, convenient borders and clusters:

Next here are some quickpages, stacked papers and wordart, plus a money-saving bundle with all three packs.

Here are some layouts made with various combinations of the borders, clusters, wood papers, torn papers and wordart. These went together very quickly and were a lot of fun to make. Please note that for the first page, the wordart color has been modified to match the little girl's socks (which is easy to do in MyMemories Suite).

(The Spring Showers wordart in this next sample is not included in the wordart pack, but if anyone who purchases the wordart pack would like me to make this phrase into a wordart, I would be more than happy to...just let me know in the comments...)

For this next wordart, I modified the shade and also added a white stroke to make it match and stand out.

This next page uses a wood paper, a border, a cluster, and the scatter from the main kit. I usually feel like the scatters and brush work underneath the other elements and photos add some interest and sort of ties it all together, don't you?

This next one uses the one of the wood papers and a cluster, plus the scatter from the add-on. (Again, this title wordart is not in the pack - it was made using a font, stroke, shadow, etc.)

For the following example, I used a wood paper, a cluster, and a gingham ribbon and the scatter from the main kit. This wordart is included in the pack, but I have added a white stroke around it to make it stand out against the wood-look background. If it were against a light-colored cardstock, then that wouldn't be necessary. It's fun to have options, though, isn't it?

One final note: I'm sending out the newsletter with the free alpha in it again today, so if you haven't gotten that be sure to watch for it. I believe that my newsletter system has the capability of sending it out to individuals as new people subscribe, so from now until April 30 I'll try to stay on top of it so that latecomers won't miss out.

And there you have it! I sure hope that all is well with you and yours. I appreciate your visiting my blog so much, and you are all in my prayers. (Our beautiful, caring God knows us and our needs even better than we do ourselves.) Blessings and hugs!
